• Consenting to and passing a background and credit check

4. Membership Terms

Membership terms vary by home and availability. Standard memberships are typically 6 or 12 months. Month-to-month options may be available at select properties.

5. Early Termination

If you need to terminate your membership early, we require:

• 30 days written notice
• Payment of 2 months rent as an early termination fee

This policy helps us maintain stability for your housemates while providing flexibility when you need it.

6. Payment Terms

Rent is due on the first of each month. Late payments may incur fees as specified in your membership agreement. We accept various payment methods as outlined during the application process.

7. Community Standards

All members are expected to:

• Respect fellow housemates and their personal space
• Maintain cleanliness in shared areas
• Follow house rules and quiet hours
• Report any maintenance issues promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Limitation of Liability

CoStay Homes is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property that occurs on the premises, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Members are encouraged to obtain renter's insurance for their personal belongings.

9. Fair Housing

CoStay Homes complies with all applicable Fair Housing laws. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected class.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
